APS Benefits

This is an overview of benefits for APS employees.  The details may differ depending on the office location and will change over time.  Questions about benefits can be sent to hr@ampowersys.com.

Medical and Prescription Drug Plans:

  • Four comprehensive plans: Aetna PPO 1, Capital Blue Cross PPO 1, Aetna PPO 2, and Capital Blue Cross PPO 2, with prescription drug coverage through Express Scripts.

  • Premiums vary based on coverage level (employee-only or family), ranging from $18.00 to $27.25 for individual coverage and $89.25 to $124.00 for family coverage weekly.

 

Dental Coverage:

  • Provided through United Concordia, with no annual deductible, covering up to $1,500 per person yearly, with free in-network preventive services.

 

Vision Coverage:

  • EyeMed offers two plans: the Base Vision Plan (included with medical coverage) and a Buy-Up Plan, which is available for an additional premium and offers enhanced coverage for lenses, frames, and contact lenses.

Basic Term Life and AD&D Insurance:

  • Coverage at no cost to the employee.

Voluntary Term Life and AD&D Insurance:

  • Available for employees, spouses, and children at group rates.

 

Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD):

  • Coverage through Prudential is available.

 

Employee Assistance Program (EAP):

  • Confidential access to work, personal, and family support services, with six face-to-face and unlimited phone sessions annually.

 

Daily Life Management:

  • Access to childcare, elder care, legal, financial resources, and more.

 

401(k) Savings Plan:

  • Automatic enrollment after two months, with a 3% pre-tax contribution. APS matches 25% of the first 6% contributed and makes an annual 3% employer contribution.

 

Paid Holidays:

  • Nine paid holidays per year.

 

Fitness Discounts:

  • Discounts are available through medical plan carriers like Aetna and Capital Blue Cross.

 

Employee Service Awards:

  • Recognized at specific service milestones, starting from one year and continuing at increments up to 50 years.
